About Us
Kent and East Sussex's trusted weatherboard specialists with over a decade of experience caring for heritage properties.
Caring for the Weald's Weatherboard Heritage
Based in Tenterden, the "Jewel of the Weald," we have spent over 10 years restoring and maintaining the weatherboard properties that are so characteristic of the beautiful Kent and East Sussex landscape.
From the white-painted cottages of the High Weald villages to the grey timber-clad barns of the traditional farmsteads, we understand the craftsmanship and care that these properties deserve across the Weald region.
Our expertise spans from Grade I and Grade II listed buildings requiring strict adherence to conservation guidelines, through to modern homes with uPVC or fiber cement cladding. Whatever your weatherboard needs, we have the skills and experience to deliver exceptional results.

Our Attention to Detail
It is the things other contractors skip that set our work apart. Here is how we make sure every weatherboard project is finished to the highest standard.
Guttering Removed for Full Access
Wherever possible we remove guttering and downpipes before we begin. This gives us clear access to the timber behind so it can be thoroughly sanded, prepared and treated properly — not just painted around. Guttering is then carefully refitted (or renewed if requested) and tested for leaks once reinstalled.
Like-for-Like on Listed Properties
On heritage and listed buildings we replace rotten boards on a matching profile and repair original timber wherever it can be saved, preserving the character that makes these properties special.
Proper Preparation, Proper Coats
Every job starts with meticulous preparation — rubbing down to a sound surface and masking off brickwork, plinths and stonework — followed by a stabilising undercoat and multiple top coats of quality, breathable paint systems.
We Return After the Scaffold Comes Down
As standard practice, once scaffolding has been dismantled we come back to snag and touch up any areas where the scaffold poles rested against the property — so the finish is flawless from top to bottom.
