We were asked to take on just the difficult high level work to the gable, protecting the newly planted borders and resin driveway carefully before starting, then completing the remaining boards so the wider exterior project could be finished.

Large Weatherboard Restoration, Biddenden

A large weatherboarded home in Biddenden that looked reasonably sound from the ground. Once sanding and preparation began, far more rot came to light than expected. We replaced over 220 linear metres of failed timber cladding in treated shiplap, renewed every corner cover fillet, carried out joinery and rainwater repairs and a chimney render repair, then finished the whole exterior.

At this Grade II listed oast house near Rye, failing exterior coatings concealed a mixture of sound, loose and decayed timber. We retained and refixed serviceable original boards, renewed failed sections to a matching profile, then carefully prepared and repainted the front and rear elevations, the front and side porches and the outhouse in Sadolin Superdec Satin.
